The breathable mesh is tightly woven at 0.035 inch × 0.031 inch (0.9mm x 0.8mm), effectively keeping out most insects.

The time for installation took longer than the directions. I found a video on u-tube showing how to install it and I probably would’ve had a lot of trouble without watching it first. Otherwise it was great.
