***NOTE: We offer two different credit card payment gateways on our checkout page to ensure a smooth transaction:
- The First Section (“Credit/Debit Cards”, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay): All payment methods within this upper section only support Visa and Mastercard.
- The Final Section (“Credit Card”—the last option on the list): This gateway supports all major card types, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and JCB.
If your payment fails with one option, please try switching to the other credit card gateway. Should both attempts fail, please review the detailed troubleshooting guide below to resolve the issue.
Here are some common scenarios and solutions.
1. 3D Secure Authentication
3D-Secure is the secure protocol designed to ensure enhanced security and strong authentication for you when you use your debit or credit cards for online purchases. It is called, depending on the card type, “MasterCard SecureCode”, “Verified by Visa” and, in the case of American Express cards, “Safekey”. When you transact, you may be asked to provide a special security code to the card issuing bank in order for the bank to authorise the online transaction when prompted in the payments page.
Card issuing banks have different methods of generating and delivering these codes and so if you don’t know or forget your 3D-Secure passcode/password, and you are not being given the option to enrol online or ‘forgot password link’ in the bank’s pop up screen, then you will need to contact your card issuing bank.
2. Credit Card Payment Issues
Upon a successful transaction, you’ll be redirected to the order detail page.
If you’re redirected to the checkout page instead, it means your payment failed. First, please check if your credit card has sufficient funds. If it does, 90% of payment failures are due to a “Transaction Do Not Honour” error. This can happen for various reasons, including cross-border transactions, customer or bank-imposed limits, or recent negative consumer behavior.
Solutions:
① Call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask your card issuer to authorize the payment. Then, try paying again. —— This is the most effective method.
② Use a different card to pay.
③ Please try paying again. Your card issuer may authorize the payment on a subsequent attempt.
④ Try paying with PayPal.
3. Apple Pay Payment Issue
Scenario:
Apple Pay Button Not Appearing On The Payment Page
Solution:
- Device Compatibility
- Ensure you’re using an Apple device with Apple Pay activated and a card saved in your Apple Wallet.
- Mobile Safari on iOS 10.1 or later
- Mac running macOS Sierra or later
- Ensure you’re using an Apple device with Apple Pay activated and a card saved in your Apple Wallet.
- Browser Compatibility
- Please note that Google Chrome may not offer Apple Pay as a payment option, even on iOS/iPadOS devices. However, starting from iOS 16, Apple Pay may be functional in some non-Safari mobile browsers.
Should the problem persist, kindly consider utilizing an alternative payment method, like PayPal. We accept Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal as payment methods.
