In the summer, it seals in the AC and blocks outdoor heat waves to keep the van area crisp and cool.
In the winter, it prevents heat from escaping while keeping the biting cold out, ensuring the interior stays warm and cozy.
No matter the season, it maintains the perfect temperature inside your van.
Our product consists of two parts: upper (Bed Partition) and lower (Garage Partition) parts, the whole height just covers the back door.
The upper part is a combination of an insulation blanket and a soft bug screen. Simply unzip to use the mesh, allowing for airflow and ventilation in summer while effectively keeping mosquitoes and insects out.
The lower part has two separate pieces, one is a bug net and the other is a thermal blanket, both of which can be combined with the upper part through the built-in magnets.
Relying on numerous powerful magnets around the edge, it hangs over the rear door like a barrier, serving as a bed partition as well as providing insulation and privacy. The thermal blanket is made of 3M Thinsulate insulation & durable fabric that reflects heat and blocks cold. With it, you create an effective thermal barrier: in the summer, it keeps the scorching heat out and traps the cool air inside; in the winter, it minimizes heat transfer, preventing your warmth from escaping.
The screen is a mesh material that allows air flow and visibility while keeping bugs out. You can easily switch between the thermal blanket and the screen with the built-in zipper. Note: To secure the blanket more firmly to the door frame, the pre-reserved opening at the top where it connects to the door clasps may be a bit tight and require some force to put it in.

This is quite possibly a perfect product. The back doors on our camper van are not insulated and this product is going to be great for that purpose. The included screen and privacy panel are perfectly placed and this could not be any easier to put up and take down. This works especially well for our unit because our bed is lower so it provides air above us with the screen unzipped and privacy while we’re laying in bed. We use it in a 2014 leisure travel Mercedes sprinter van, which has door seals that cannot be removed so that ruled out many options that are on the market however, even if I did have that ability having seen this product, I would choose this again and again
If I had any complaints at all, it would be to make the storage bags a little bit larger it’s tough getting the parts back in the bag. I ended up sewing some new ones that are a bit larger.

We have honestly been loving this rear door thermal blanket. It makes the van feel so much warmer, cozier, and less drafty, especially by the back doors. It is easier to regulate temperatures in the back of the van, which is super important since we travel with two dogs. We also love that it has the screen built in, so it’s useful when the weather warms up too. The blanket is easy to install with the strong magnet. It’s works great in our van and we definitely recommend it.
This insulated screen is exactly what I was looking for to keep snow and rain from soaking the bed when we open the rear doors to access the garage. We only use the top half, and it fits perfectly in the door frame, and tucks into the bed frame to make a tight seal from wind and snow. I’ve used it for winter camping twice this winter on ski trips and it keeps the sleeping area warm from the chilly rear windows, and most importantly my wife can stay toasty warm and dark in bed while I’m getting my gear out of the back. I’m looking forward to using this in the summer as well to provide a bug screen and privacy for the bed area when we have the rear doors open. Build quality is fantastic, zippers are good, seams are solid, material is top quality and durable and the magnets work great. Sets up in seconds and has a convenient storage sack. This is worth every penny.

This blanket is a total must-have item. I have been sleeping in some of the coldest weather NYC has seen in decades and the Rear door blanket put a big smile on my face the first night I laid down and didn’t feel those drafts any longer. privacy, a totally sealed and insulated barrier with a convenient zippered clam shell window, lined with bug mesh. Workmanship and materials are top notch. Much better than expected. Very innovative design and forward thinking with the use of magnets.
